I Have No Excuses Left

I've replayed that moment in my head more times than I can count, and every single time I land on the same truth: I should have shown up for you, and I didn't. There were a hundred small choices where I picked the easy path instead of the right one, and you paid the price for my cowardice. I'm not going to dress this up or explain it away, because you deserve better than another polished excuse.

What I can promise you is that I've sat with this long enough to actually change, not just to feel guilty until the discomfort fades. I understand if forgiveness isn't something you're ready to offer yet, or maybe ever. But I needed you to hear from me, plainly and without conditions, that I know what I did and I am genuinely sorry.
