The words behind the moment
How You Stay With Me Still
A letter from Owen
It's a Tuesday evening and I'm doing nothing important—just watching the sky change colors through the window—yet somehow you're all I can think about. The ordinary moments are the ones thatache the most, I think, because there's no distraction loud enough to fill the quiet where you should be.
I keep catching myself reaching for my phone to tell you something small, something only you would understand. I hope wherever you are right now, the air feels gentle and the day is being kind to you. I'll keep saving all these little pieces of today for when I can finally hand them over to you again.
