The words behind the moment
A Compass Without a Map
A letter from Emily
We used to think starting over meant we had failed, but I see it differently now. The old chapters shaped us, but they were never the whole story. Today the air feels lighter, like the world is offering us a clean horizon.
I don't know exactly where we go from here, and for the first time that doesn't scare me. Maybe not knowing is the point — a open hand instead of a clenched one. Whatever waits ahead, I'd rather walk toward it than stand still.
